The Gifted Youth AI Meme Contest
What happens when a flock of flamingos tries beach yoga and one of them can’t quite find their balance? That’s the kind of silliness our Gifted Youth get to create!
This contest invites young Mensans to explore AI image generators and show off their sense of humor. Create a funny image or comic using any AI tool, then add your own original caption to turn it into a meme. The tech makes the picture; the wit is all you.
Below you’ll find the important details, timelines, and expectations. Any questions? Just let us know!
How to Enter:
Email your meme to Julie at giftedyouth@palmbeach.us.mensa.org. Entries must include:
-
Child’s name (first name and last initial, or first name only)
-
Their age
-
Their meme as a JPG or PNG
The Rules:
-
One entry per person, please!
-
Open to Palm Beach Area Mensa Gifted Youth members
-
The image must be AI-generated, but the caption must be your own original idea
-
No copyrighted characters, brands, or logos (so no cartoon characters or superheroes, please!)
-
No images of real people, including classmates, celebrities, or public figures
-
Keep it family-friendly and kind: humor that doesn’t poke fun at any person or group
-
Most AI image tools require users to be 13+, so younger members should create alongside a parent
-
By entering, you agree that your meme may be featured on our website, social channels, and in The Rising Tide, using the name you provide
-
We reserve the right to decline entries that don’t follow these rules
The Prize:
Every eligible entry goes into a random drawing for a $20 Amazon gift card. The winner will be notified by email.
