Fall 2026
- The Fall 2026 issue of The Rising Tide is here! We're saying a heartfelt (if teary) goodbye to a few incredible teen volunteers as they head off to their next adventures. Plus back-to-school app recommendations, a recap of our Cornell Art Museum outing, Sophia's beach reads book reviews, summer highlights from our GY families, a new lemon bars recipe from our newest contributor, Elizabeth's Epic Universe travel report, photo contest winners, an America Recycles Day event and a call for Fall Gathering volunteers, our Sapphire Award win, an upcoming college admissions webinar, and birthday shoutouts. Seriously, this issue is packed!
Summer 2026
- The Summer 2026 issue of The Rising Tide is here! We're celebrating a Dreyfoos graduate who is proof that passion and consistency really do work. Plus a summer editorial for gifted families, two months left in the Florida Photo Contest, a group tour at the Cornell Art Museum on June 6th (RSVP by June 1st!), book recs, youth-written features on Isaac Newton and Kennedy Space Center, our youngest-ever contributor at age five, birthday shoutouts, and new member welcomes. It's a good one.
April 2026
- The April issue of The Rising Tide is here and it comes with a cover photo problem (Major Slim Jim has opinions). This month our GY teen volunteers launched a three-month photo contest, and we've got youth-written features on Florida's phone ban, the hidden science of logos, and a spring break adventure in Mallorca. Dr. Michelle Sukenik wraps up her three-part series with a case for doing less and being more. Plus Eagle Scout celebrations, crow facts, a book rec, and a webinar on AICE, AP, and Dual Enrollment. It's a lot. In the best way.
March 2026
- This month's issue of The Rising Tide dives into the emotional and creative sides of giftedness — from a counselor's perspective on perfectionism and empathy to the powerful link between music and IQ. You'll also find youth-written articles, a travel adventure, a new merch design initiative, upcoming virtual events, and plenty of birthday and member shoutouts.
February 2026
- This month’s issue of The Rising Tide highlights the many ways our Gifted Youth connect, create, and explore - through reflections on giftedness, youth spotlights, original writing, and stories from around the world. You’ll also find program updates, a book recommendation, upcoming reminders, and birthday celebrations.
December 2025
- Get Ready for a Youth Takeover!
The December issue of The Rising Tide is officially live, and this month’s edition is run completely by us, the kids. Every page is filled with artwork, stories, photos, projects, and submissions from members of all ages (plus a few highlights our parents shared too).
We had a lot of fun putting this one together, and we hope you enjoy flipping through it! Read on!
