Leanza (16)

Teen Rep Event Coordinator

Hi! I’m Leanza, and I’m a sophomore in high school. As a lifetime member of Mensa, I spend my free time indulging in articles and riddles from Mensa’s magazines. Aside from reading, I’m an avid lover of learning about other cultures, languages, and the law. Whenever I’m not writing another book or listening to foreign music, you can find me on the tennis court or volunteering at a food bank.

Isla (17)

Teen Rep Communications Specialist & Newsletter Contributor

Hi, I’m Isla, a high school junior at a local art school. As a lifetime Mensa member and part of the Mensa Honor Society, I’m doubling up on AP science classes to prepare for a future in zoology. I hope to earn a degree in the field and have my sights set on Cornell or the University of Glasgow. This summer, I’m making my dream of traveling to Japan a reality! In my free time, I love playing video games and reading books.

Trisha (16)

Teen Rep Communications Specialist

Hi! I’m Trisha, a communications student at a local art school with a passion for marketing, debate, and photography. As a Teen Mensa Representative, I love connecting with other gifted youth and helping build a strong, engaged community through photos!.

Outside of Mensa, I manage social media and marketing for my family’s business, work as a photographer for various organizations, and compete in debate at local, state, and national levels. I also run my own independent debate team, mentoring younger students in speech and argumentation.

Beyond academics, I’m a multi-instrumentalist and perform in a rock band, playing guitar, trumpet, drums, saxophone, vocals, and more. Music is a huge part of my life, and I love exploring different genres and instruments and also listening

One of my biggest passions is traveling! I love exploring new cities, learning about different cultures, trying local foods, and learning new languages. Traveling has given me a global perspective, and I’m especially interested in how international markets and media shape our world.

When I’m not debating, playing music, or capturing moments behind a camera, you’ll find me practicing MMA or expanding my language skills. I’m excited to be part of Teen Mensa and look forward to connecting with more like-minded peers!

Aditya (13)

Teen Rep Volunteer

Hi, I’m Aditya! I attend a local art school where I major in theater. I played J. Finch in Puffs, my most recent production, and won a Superior Award in Duo Improv at the State Festival. I’m a member of Mensa, NJHS (National Junior Honor Society), and Junior ITS (International Thespian Society). I also compete in speech and debate, focusing on Interpretation events. Outside of school, I play drums, guitar, and vocals in a rock band, recently performing Aerosmith songs. I enjoy tennis, pickleball, martial arts (working toward my brown belt), solving puzzles, building Legos, keeping up with sports, reading books, and watching new TV shows. My family loves to travel, immersing ourselves in different cultures, foods, and languages!

Sophia (8)

Junior Journalist

I’m 8 years old and a Junior Journalist for The Rising Tide. I love writing informative stories every month and sharing what I’ve learned with other curious kids. Volunteering with Mensa Youth is fun because I get to write, learn new things, and be part of a group that loves learning as much as I do!
