Palm Beach Area Mensa is thrilled to announce that three of our outstanding Gifted Youth members have been awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award for their incredible commitment to community service in 2024. These inspiring teens show that brilliance and compassion go hand in hand.

Palm Beach Area Mensa is proud to announce that three of our exceptional Young Mensans have been honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) for their outstanding commitment to community service in 2024!

🏅 Trisha B and Isla W received the Bronze Award, recognizing their contribution of 50–74 hours (ages 13–15) and 100–174 hours (ages 16–17) of volunteer service.

🥈 Aditya B earned the Silver Award for completing 75–99 hours (ages 13–15) of meaningful community engagement.

These teens exemplify the spirit of service championed by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, which created the PVSA to recognize Americans who make a positive impact in their communities through sustained volunteerism (https://presidentialserviceawards.gov).

As active members of Mensa’s Teen Special Interest Group (TeenSIG) - which empowers gifted youth ages 13–17 to connect, learn, and lead - Trisha, Isla, and Aditya demonstrate that intelligence shines brightest when paired with compassion and action (https://www.us.mensa.org/learn/gifted-youth/teen-special-interest-group).

Please join us in celebrating these remarkable teens for their dedication, leadership, and heart!
