Elizabeth wowed her classmates when she was featured on her school’s morning news for her violin performance! Now in her fifth year of playing, she chose a challenging piece that showed off both her skill and her quiet confidence.

Big applause for Eva, who recently skipped a grade and is already thriving as a fourth grader! Making the leap from third to fourth grade is no small feat, but Eva hasn’t missed a beat, proof that curiosity and determination make a great combination!

A huge congratulations to Isla, one of our long-time Young Mensans who recently aged out of the program but continues to volunteer with our group! Isla was just accepted to the University of Glasgow’s Zoology program, one of her top choices. She was also recently inducted into Mu Alpha Theta, the national math honor society. Palm Beach Young Mensan Aurora recently returned from a memorable trip to the United Kingdom, but this time, she ventured far beyond the usual tourist spots. In her own words:
My previous visit to the United Kingdom was a classic tourist run, focusing on major attractions like the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Stonehenge, and the Tower Bridge. This trip was entirely different. We spent the week touring the English countryside, diving into history and local flavor. Our itinerary included visiting the English Channel in Exmouth, enjoying a castle dinner in Exeter, exploring the ancient Avebury Stone Circle and the famed Roman Baths, and checking out a beautiful 15th-century church in Blagdon. Navigating the journey added its own challenge, as the roads were narrow with blind turns, and driving on the left side took some time to master.
