A big round of applause to Lucian, whose incredible photo of baby alligator Munster - caught mid-snack with a fly in his mouth - captured both nature’s charm and perfect timing! Lucian will receive a LEGO 3-in-1 Tropical Ukulele set (a $30 value!), where creativity meets adventure! Whether it's strumming a tune, swimming with dolphins, or surfing the waves, the possibilities are as wild as his winning photo. Great job, Lucian!
About Lucian
Lucian is a vibrant and imaginative 5-year-old from Delray Beach, Florida, who just graduated Pre-K and is heading into Kindergarten. With an insatiable curiosity and a huge heart, Lucian thrives in hands-on, creative environments and loves learning how things work—from animals and ecosystems to robotics and 3D printing. He’s already traveled to over 15 U.S. states and 3 countries and has been swimming independently since he was 6 months old through ISR.
An active child with a love for movement, Lucian has played soccer since age two and now plays flag football at FAU—where his mom proudly coaches his team. He’s trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over two years, proudly wearing his black gi and gray belt, and just earned his first red stripe this week! He’s also musically inclined, winning his first piano award at age four, continues weekly lessons, and has another upcoming competition this summer.
Lucian is an artist and a builder—he loves sculpting with Play-Doh, painting, creating storybooks, and building epic LEGO and Magna-Tile creations. He’s fascinated by dinosaurs and science and often dreams about bringing back vegetarian dino species for study. He’s also an animal lover. At home, he shares his world with two dogs, a crested gecko, and a snake.
One of his proudest accomplishments is founding Lucian’s Little Library, a Little Free Library project we launched to promote literacy and community connection across South Florida. He’s been learning how to fundraise, upcycle donated books, and teach others about giving back.
A proud Slytherin, Lucian adores Halloween and his favorite books include Wild Kratts, Octonauts, and the Harry Potter series. He’s also worked as a child model since he was a baby and continues to light up every room he enters with curiosity, compassion, and creative flair.
