Two countries. Endless discovery.

Elizabeth invites us along as she explores Austria and Switzerland—through the eyes of a curious traveler with a love for learning and adventure.

Hey guys! I am back with some cool facts about Switzerland and Austria starting with:

How does snow feel? Snow feels like cold, wet cotton balls that melt. Switzerland and Austria had light snow in December but it was so beautiful:)

What is ice skating like? Ice skating is difficult. Ice skating is not like sliding around with socks. It is more like balancing on slippery ice! I recommend ice skating in the famous Kristkindlemart Christmas Market in Vienna, Austria which is very big! Don’t forget to get a hot cup of hot chocolate to warm up in one of their famous Winter mugs!

What is skiing like? Skiing is also very difficult because when you are going down the slope, you feel the wind hitting your face and you also have to control the skis! I had the opportunity to go to Wengen, Switzerland to ski in December and it was beautiful!

Switzerland is a Winter sports paradise and I hope you can travel there in Winter one day! Thank you!
